About the conference

Following the FNR Core 2008 project BIONIR, the Centre de Recherche Public - Gabriel Lippmann organizes the first conference about spectroscopic measurements in anaerobic digestion, in Belvaux (Luxembourg) on Friday, June 1st 2012.

Spectroscopic measurements related to anaerobic digestion have drastically grown in importance during the last years. The Centre de Recherche Public – Gabriel Lippmann, in collaboration with the European Network for Spectroscopy in Anaerobic Digestion (ENSAD), is organizing a one-day conference focusing on recent progress made in spectroscopic measurements to help the monitoring of the anaerobic digestion process.

The conference will include presentations of recognized experts in spectroscopy and biomethanation, a poster session, and a final round table to list recommendations and outlooks. During the breaks, participants will benefit from an equipment exhibition and a lab visit.

We hope that the scientific program will allow all participants to contribute to creative discussions, share ideas and lead to new perspectives.

The conference will take place at the CRP - Gabriel Lippmann, Belvaux, Luxembourg.
